Sergio Finocchi, a pioneer of Italian rendering, founded FAR-PRO-MODENA Spa in 1972, beginning the valorization of animal blood collected from slaughterhouses.
This activity, innovative for its time, made it possible to reduce the environmental impact caused by the disposal of animal blood directly into rivers and fields.
